Note: the article is authentic from CNN but it has been slightly adapted. Try to understand the whole article but focus on the words in yellow and the expressions in blue (I will give you the answers shortly). Also notice some words in grey which have been explained with an easier synonym. In addition, you may want to watch this video aired just before Guardiola announced in a press conference he was standing down at the end of the season. The video features an interview with a Spanish football journalist and with CNN correspondent in Madrid.
